Eating trouble
For the past week Ethelyn has been telling me about daddy spitting out his food. He has done this on occassion when I fed him, but I always felt it was because he didn't like the taste of texture of the food. For example, he seems to always spit out carrots, and hard to chew meats. Yesterday the meal was seafood gumbo. I knew to bypass the meats but he didn't like the gumbo at all. He pushed it all out with his tongue. I tried to crumble up his corn bread so it wouldn't be so soupy, and he did better. I managed to get him to eat all his cornbread, 1/2 the gumbo, NO carrots, and all of this pudding. He spit out some of his milk, but drank most of it. I know he is gaining weight so I am not concerned. I feel for the moment it is his decision not to eat, not the inability to eat. His activity is so little, I know his calorie demand is small, but I do want to keep track of his eating for future reference in case it does become an issue.
