During the past month, I have found a little time to make a few cards. The "Winnie the Pooh" was one of my first cards. I made it to send with a bubble mower we sent to Georgia. The purple and gold cards were made for graduation gifts for students at BHS and LSU that were graduating. As luck would have it, the colors are purple and gold and both were tigers so I embossed them with paw prints. The Green one was for Impact Benton sponsors. I embossed them with hands and feet since Impact Benton was about being the "Hands and Feet of Jesus". The emblem I framed is the logo of Impact Benton. It is blurring but on the parish map it marks Benton. On the tools are the words loving and serving.
I made another card to celebrate our pastors 16 years at FBC but I guess I didn't take a picture. I used the SCAL to cut a silhouette of a preacher at the pulpit - the colors were blue and brown, and I embossed the card with swiss dots and cut edges with the Fiskars threading water punch.
My picture taking has not improved, but my craft storage has. I have most of my supplies in one area so hopefully I will be able to make more cards and improve with each one. It would be nice to make my Christmas Cards this year, but that is way over my skill level right now!
